About Me

My accountancy career began in 2002 working with SMEs at BDO in Preston where I completed my ACA training contact and qualified as a Chartered Accountant. A move to Deloitte in Manchester followed where I spend 18month working on the audit of larger companies and PLCs before going back to my roots of working with SMEs as a manager within Deloitte’s Entrepreneurial Business Team. After 6 years I moved into industry, firstly as a Financial Controller for a glass manufacturer and then as No1 in Finance role within a fast-growing Wealth Management business. In 2018 I decided to balance to work and family commitments and set up my own practice offering accountancy services and business consultancy to owner-managed businesses. I spend my spare time messing around with my husband and two young sons.
